Snow to hit again -- up to 9 more inches possible by end of week

Snow is expected to fall throughout the region starting Tuesday afternoon, Feb. 5.

From Sunday to Monday, reports show about 4-12 inches scattered across northeastern North Dakota and northwestern Minnesota. Another 1-3 inches is predicted to add to snow totals between Tuesday and Wednesday.

There's potential for up to 6 inches of snow to fall from Wednesday night into Thursday morning, a National Weather Service report said.

Dangerously cold temperatures are expected along with high winds through the region Thursday night and into Friday. Wind speeds of 15-25 mph are expected to pair with temperatures of 20-30 below to cause wind chills near 50 below. Blowing snow is possible and could create difficult driving conditions.
